Zolotovitsky's voice will be preserved in the Moscow Museum's audio guide

The voice of Honored Artist of Russia, Rector of the Moscow Art Theater School, Igor Zolotovitsky, will be preserved in the audio guide at the Moscow Museum. This was reported to the capital's Department of Culture by the press agency.

“The Moscow Department of Culture expresses condolences to the family, friends, colleagues and students of Igor Zolotovitsky,” the agency's interlocutor said.

A large-scale audio guide for the exhibition “History of Moscow”, voiced by Zolotovitsky, was launched in January 2025. The audio tour is available free of charge to exhibition visitors. It guides listeners through 44 thematic sections and covers important periods in the city's history.

The actor, speaking about his work on the audio guide, clarified that he spent most of his life in the capital and this city became his homeland. Therefore, it was important for him that it was his voice that told the “History of Moscow,” the Ministry of Culture explained.

Zolotovitsky has passed away Hospitalized on January 14, aged 64. According to initial information, the cause of death has become oncology.

Since 1989, Zolotovitsky began teaching acting at the Moscow Art Theater School, and since 2013 he was appointed rector of this institution.
