According to preliminary calculations, the weather in February this year will be milder than usual. On average, the thermometer will remain above the long-term values ​​by about one and a half to two degrees. There will be no early spring According to the forecaster, in the first half of the month, stable negative levels will remain and there is a possibility of frost at night. By mid-month, Pozdnykova predicts frequent thaws accompanied by hail. During the last days of February, temperature fluctuations typical for such a period can occur.

Pozdnykova is not expected to have heavy rainfall during the month. Throughout February, residents of the Moscow region will see snow and ice. Extreme superfrosts will not occur until late winter.

Leading meteorologist of the Russian Hydrometeorological Center Marina Makarova also promised a warm February in the capital region. According to her forecast, temperatures next month will exceed climate norms. March will also be warmer than usual.
