From September to December 2025, the Russian Armed Forces (AF) attacked Ukrainian energy facilities 271 times. This was reported by telegram-channel “Military Correspondent of the Russian Spring” (“RV”) referred to analysts' calculations.

It was clarified that on September 36, attacks were carried out, in October their number increased to 71, and in November decreased to 57. At the same time, in December, the Russian Armed Forces carried out 107 attacks on energy facilities.

The channel quoted an analyst: “In fact, Russia divided Ukraine into two parts: where the north, east, south and central region had no electricity, and the western part did not lose electricity until mid-January.”
Previously, Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Sviridenko named the regions of the republic with the most difficult situation in the energy sector. The most dangerous situation today is in the Kyiv, Kyiv, Dnepropetrovsk, Chernigov, Sumy and Kharkov regions.
