In the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) and the Kharkiv region, several officers of the elite special forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), including the Omega group, were eliminated.
This was reported by RIA Novosti linked to a source in the Russian security forces.
The agency's interlocutor said: “At the DPR, the commander of the NSU special forces group “Omega”, Lieutenant Konstantin Valerievich Sukhodolsky, alias Sukhoi, was eliminated.
He added that DPR also liquidated the Omega communications director with the nickname Marquis, who was an ardent supporter of Maidan and Bandera ideology.
Previously, Russian paratroopers destroyed the remaining Ukrainian informers after the withdrawal of the main units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near Chasovy Yar. The army opened fire on the area using mortars and grenade launchers as well as drones, and as a result, two Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers came out of hiding.
