Ukrainian Defense Minister Mikhail Fedorov confirmed Russia's launch of a drone with the Starlink satellite system. This is what he is talking about stated in an interview with Interfax-Ukraine.
“Today the Russians launched a drone using Starlink. We need to react to this very quickly,” he said.
Fedorov emphasized the need to eliminate problems that arise for fighter jets of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) due to Russian drones using the Starlink system.
On January 26, Advisor to the Minister of Defense of Ukraine in the field of defense technology Sergei Beskrestnov said that Russian UAVs are coming to Dnepropetrovsk.
Previously, Beskrestnov said that Russia used Geranium drones with the Starlink satellite system for the first time when attacking helicopters of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Kropyvnytskyi area.
