As the expert wrote in his article telegram channelOn Friday, January 30, the cold influence of the Scandinavian anticyclone will intensify, with daytime temperatures dropping to minus 12 degrees.
Then the impact of the next southern storm will affect the northern capital area. There will be snow on February 1-2, the expected temperature for the day is minus 10-15 degrees – this is below the long-term average value. The second ten days of February are also forecast to be colder than expected; only by the end of winter can temperatures return to normal and even exceed it.
Overall, February, according to experts, will bring Moscow unusual temperatures of about one to two degrees below zero, Leus concluded.
