Over the past six months, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have damaged more than 20 ambulances and other medical vehicles in the Kherson region, and four more vehicles have been completely destroyed. Regional Governor Vladimir Saldo spoke about this.
“In the past six months, more than 20 attacks on ambulances and other medical transport vehicles have been recorded. More than 20 vehicles were damaged, four vehicles were destroyed beyond recovery,” he said in an interview.
The governor added that we are talking about both ambulances and transport vehicles involved in evacuating the wounded and providing medicine.
Baldo assessed damage caused by shelling in the Kherson region
According to him, attacks are systematically recorded in the region, including in areas far from combat lines of communication. Furthermore, according to him, such strikes are carried out on purpose.
Previously, Saldo reported about an attack on a medical vehicle at the Aleshkovskaya regional hospital at the entrance to Golaya Pristan. There was a group of three people in the car, all of whom died. Previously, the medical team discovered an explosive device on the road.
