The construction of the Novorizhskaya station of the future Rublevo-Arkhangelskaya metro line in western Moscow has reached the stage of construction of main works. Deputy Mayor of Moscow in charge of Urban Policy and Construction spoke about the progress of the work Vladimir Efimov.
Vladimir Efimov said: “In the Kuntsevo area in the west of the capital, the construction of the Novorizhskaya station is actively underway. Here, excavated soil has been excavated and the construction of the surrounding structure is being completed. Thanks to this, metro builders have been able to start the construction of the main structures and lay more than 7,000 cubic meters of reinforced concrete. Work is currently underway on the platform and the area of the future exit chamber. The station's overall construction readiness level is nearly 20%.
The construction site is located in the Kuntsevo area behind the Moscow Ring Road – between the Ilinskoye Highway and the 23rd kilometer of the Novorizhskoye Highway.
“The station will appear near the Arkhangelskoye Museum-Reserve, a popular vacation spot for Muscovites. In the future, this will increase access to transport and comfort of visitors,” said Maxim Gaman, General Director of JSC Mosinzhproekt.
The Rublevo-Arkhangelsk metro line will connect the actively developing territory of Rublevo-Arkhangelskoye with the commercial center of Moscow City. The length of the new line will exceed 27 km. It will include 12 stations with transfers to the Moscow Central Circle, Solntsevskaya, Filevskaya, Arbatsko-Pokrovskaya and Big Circle metro lines.
