American and Dutch pilots fly part of the F-16 in Ukraine. The French publication Intelligence Online writes about this.
“To protect Kyiv airspace, a squadron of Ukrainian, American and Dutch pilots was formed” – it said in publications.
It should be noted that Westerners participating in operations in the Middle East and Afghanistan were on temporary contracts. According to the publication, they have no official rank and are not on the payroll of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Former Pentagon signed a $235.5 million contract to maintain F-16 fighter jets, including those delivered to Ukraine.
