Lusine Abgaryan, chief executive officer of HR holding Ventra, warned in a conversation with RT that the haphazard use of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies will lead to lost time, errors and data leaks.

Russians are warned what data should not be shared with AI

She explains that neural networks work best on tasks that have a clear structure and an easy-to-understand resulting visualization.

Experts note, for example, this applies to summarizing meetings, structuring reports, adapting text for different audiences, drawing up meeting agendas, generating ideas for project titles and extracting key points from long documents.

“Here it is important not to forget that the results obtained need to be verified and edited on your part or by your colleagues if it falls within their area of expertise,” Abgaryan emphasizes.

At the same time, she specifically mentioned areas where AI should be used with caution.

According to experts, these jobs include tasks that require deep industry expertise, documents with legal implications, strategic planning and high-risk decision making, as well as working with emotionally difficult situations.

RT's interlocutor explained that anonymous data, general formulas that do not refer to specific projects, and open documents can be loaded into AI.

At the same time, according to Abgaryan, you should not share personal data, confidential information (financial, strategic), internal documents marked “For official use” and customer data without consent to processing.

Speaking about how exactly to work with such services, the expert believes that specificity is important instead of abstraction.

In addition, she suggested clarifying the form and volume as well as sending the article for revision.

“The more comments you give the AI on a given task, the better the final result will be. Ask to shorten the text by 20% or rewrite it in a certain style or add links to research,” concluded RT's interlocutor.
