Is it true that fast charger killing smartphones?

For quick fees for smartphones for a long time, there is a reputation as Islamic mobile battery – from 0 to 100% in half an hour, sounds too good. But in reality, things are not too simple. Information port Howtogek.com speakIt is true that fast fees can damage the health of the battery.

Is it true that fast charger killing smartphones?

The fast charger uses an increase in current (for example, 5A instead of 1-2A) to saturated the battery with large amounts of energy and in fact, faster charging. Nuance is that this increases the heat and mechanical load on the battery, theoretically, reducing the durability of the battery.

But here, it is important to remember that the fast charger increases the speed of energy gradually, and slows it when the battery is saturated. Even at the final charging stage, any smartphone carefully monitors some parameters, from the battery temperature to the voltage and adjusts the energy supply so that the indicators are kept within normal range. A few percentage of the last battery are charged at the same speed as the conventional charger is capable.

That is why some manufacturers argue that their chargers are capable, for example, to charge the battery up to 60% for 15. If you ever own this, you probably have noticed that, after a while, the battery level of the battery freezes 70-90%, because the final interest is much slower.

A number of modern smartphones using the lithium-ion-class silicon-class anode, providing larger density and faster charging. Other devices are built on the configuration twice: it allows you to double the charging capacity of the fast charger. In this situation, smartphones can charge from 0 to 100% in just 10 minutes.

In fact, the battery is more harmful not to charge fast, but bad habits to recharge. Or reload again. Or deep discharge. Many people leave the smartphone to charge at night, or allow them to be discharged up to 2%before reaching the charger. Such habits are noticeable to worsen the health of the battery. The 80/20 rule can also be applied to smartphones: a fee of less than 20% or over 80% of the largest stress, resulting in battery degradation.

But interest is not the only factor; The temperature also plays an important role. Lithium-ion battery loves temperatures from 10 to 40 degrees C.

In addition, the way a smartphone user also affects the health of the battery. There are two main suspects – screen and chip of the device. Most of the top smartphones on Android have an OLED screen that can configure the brightness of single pixels. In fact, black pixels are completely off and almost no energy consumption – that means the dark mode may be good for the battery's autonomy.

The chip can spend a lot of energy when performing the tasks that require, such as games, 4K-Video, conferences or wireless internet distribution. Just remember that the more intense load, the more the battery is worn out.
