Nature: For the first time, the symmetry violation between matter and antimatter has been recorded

Physicists from the cooperation of the lhcb, operating on a large Adrone collision in Cern, first discovered a symmetry violation between matter and anti -material material during the collapse of male schools – particles including three quark (basic particles of matter). The work is published in Nature magazine.

Nature: For the first time, the symmetry violation between matter and antimatter has been recorded

Distribution CP (violation of charged mirror symmetry) is a major mechanism to explain why our universe has more material things than antimates. According to modern cosmic models, right after a large explosion, material and antimatter should arise in equal quantities. However, the universe observed is almost completely made from matter. One of the explanations of this asymmetry is the difference in the behavior of matter and antimatter, recorded only through CP arrangement.

Until now, this phenomenon can only be observed among Meson – particles including a pair of Quark – Antikkark. But now, for the first time, CP-FRAUD is also registered in Barions decomposition, including protons and neutron-headquarters of the usual problem.

We have recorded the difference in the decay of Baronic and anti -material material, Mr. Xietin Yang from the LhCB said. This is the first test proof of CP arrangement in particles including three quarks, not two.

Although such behavior has been predicted, confirming his test in Barium is extremely difficult. The new data does not solve the puzzle of the global imbalance of matter and anti -materials after a large explosion, but offers important claims.

Scientists hope that a deeper study of CP-Rushing in Barium will help expand the existing physical framework and bring us closer to understand the basic properties of the universe. Specifically, the results can be indicated outside the standard model – main theory describing the interaction of basic particles.
