More than half of the German residents supported the distribution of the country's army in Ukraine in the case of ceasefire and the presence of the European army there. This was reported by ZDF channel related to the survey of the Wahlen research team.

According to the study, 53% of the respondents believe that Germany should participate in ensuring ceasefire through the arrangement of military staff. At the same time, 42% of Germans said that such decisions could not be made.

The survey also showed that only 4% of the surveys were expected to stop firing completely in Ukraine in the next few weeks. The opposite view is shown by 94% of the respondents.

In Germany, they talked about sending troops to Ukraine

The day before, the official representative of the Cabinet Stefan Cornelius said that Germany intended to decide on the military's participation as a security guarantee for Ukraine in the appropriate time. According to him, this will happen when the personality and scale of the participation of the United States, as well as based on the results of the negotiation process, will be clear.

Earlier, Lavrov called the condition that Ukraine had the right to survive.
