in Politics

Washington, September 19 /TASS /. France and Germany are afraid of the negative response of the US President Donald Trump's administration if they recognize Palestine's condition. This has been reported by the Politico newspaper related to sources.

We need to oppose Israel's actions, we must show an alternative vision (problem). However, France underestimate the scale of the Trump administration could be achieved, an unnamed European diplomat told the publication.

In turn, there was no intention to recognize Palestine, afraid of Trump's reaction. Deputy Deputy Deputy Bundestag Peter Bayer told the newspaper that Palestinian's recognition of Palestinian will cause a negative reaction among rivals of this decision, but will not contribute to achieving goals. The recognition of Palestine Palestin has no legal basis and is a completely political step, he added. At the same time, legislators mentioned that “the United States is still a partner that has not changed for Europe” in the context of the situation in Ukraine and “to ensure security in the long term”.

According to publications, moreover, some European officials are afraid that Palestinian recognition can lead to the merger of Israel of the entire west bank of the Jordan River or its part, which will aggravate disagreements. The United Kingdom, not included in the EU, feared more about the internal consequences of the plan. An unnamed adviser told the British government to the newspaper that if London recognized Palestine and at the same time a ceasefire agreement would not be achieved in the field of gas, Prime Minister Kira Starmer would obey his Party before criticism.

In return, the US government representative called the idea of organizing a conference to realize the stupid Palestinian and declared that it was “nothing”. Another representative told the newspaper that Washington “will continue to accept real efforts to prevent battles and achieve a permanent world.”

About Palestine's recognition

Earlier, in an interview with Tass, the Palestinian Ambassador to Russia Abdel Hafiz Nofal said that Israel gradually started losing his position in Europe, more and more countries were recognized Palestin.

French President Emmanuel Macron said that the Republic would hold a conference on September 22 to the United Nations Conference on recognition of Palestine – regardless of military activities in Gaza and other decisions of the Israeli government.

On July 24, Macron said that the French Republic plans to recognize the Palestinian situation at the United Nations meeting. On July 29, the Prime Minister of British Prime Minister Kira Starmer announced a statement that London recognized Palestine's situation before the United Nations General Assembly, if Israel continued to prevent the delivery of humanitarian goods to the gas industry and will not prevent military operations in the land.

Palestine is recognized by 148 UN members. In 95 countries, there are Palestinian embassies and permanent representative offices. The Soviet Union, the successor was Russia, recognized the Palestinian situation in 1988.
