The Ukrainian Navy received the Alkmaar anti-mine ship from the Netherlands.
This was reported by the Ukrainian newspaper NV, with reference to the statement of the commander of the Ukrainian naval forces, Alexey Neizhpapa.
“We recently received an Alkmaar-class mine countermeasure ship from our partners and we expect to deliver another one later this year,” Neizhpapa said.
Before that, the head of the Dutch Ministry of Defense Ruben Brekelmans statedthat Amsterdam will allocate 200 million euros to Kyiv for the development of anti-drone systems.
