A lot of plasma is heading towards Earth, solar activity is increasing, its peak will be on October 15. About this reported at the Solar Astronomy Laboratory of the Institute for Space Research (IKI) RAS.

Maximum flare expected on the Sun

They note that outbreaks are expected to be at record highs over the past two to three months.

“A lot of them have flown towards Earth, but there is still not enough energy. The peak of the outbreak is expected tomorrow,” the text reads.

According to IKI RAS, on October 13, 23 flares occurred on the Sun, of which 3 were strong flares – type M. Today, 12 regular flares and 2 strong flares were recorded.
