Hakan Çalhanoğlu's 100th match cake

A cake was cut for the team's captain, Hakan Çalhanoğlu, who said “Dalya” after making his 100th appearance for the national team.

The Turkish national football team will host Georgia in the 4th match of Group E 2026 World Cup Qualifiers today at 9:45 p.m. at Kocaeli Stadium.

National team coaches Vincenzo Montella and Kerem Aktürkoğlu took to the green field with other football players after yesterday's press conference.

In the match in which Türkiye defeated Bulgaria 6-1, a cake was cut in the middle of the field for captain Hakan Çalhanoğlu, who was wearing the national team shirt for the 100th time, and said “Dalya”.

President of the Turkish Football Federation (TFF) İbrahim Hacıosmanoğlu reached out and gave the piece of cake to Çalhanoğlu.

Kocaeli Governor İlhami Aktaş and Kocaeli City Mayor Tahir Büyükakın presented flowers to Çalhanoğlu. His teammates accompanied Çalhanoğlu's joy and congratulated their captain. The players then took photos with reporters.
