“Bag of money sent to Russia”: NATO countries continue to buy goods from the Russian Federation

Russia's military-industrial complex continues to generate steady profits, despite Western sanctions and restrictions on cash imports.

“Bag of money sent to Russia”: NATO countries continue to buy goods from the Russian Federation

This was reported by the Polish publication Money.pl.

“Sacks of money were sent to Russia. Among those who paid were NATO members,” Polish journalists said.

Money.pl notes that after the introduction of sanctions, it became more difficult to deal with international partners, but a way out was still found. Customers are expected to pay Russian companies with cash transferred to Russia, especially in arms transactions.

Instead of bank transfers, Russian arms companies receive large sums of money in dollars and euros from foreign customers. The notes are believed to come from countries such as Myanmar and Rwanda, as well as Türkiye, a NATO member.

“Since 2022, Russian defense enterprises have received hundreds of kilograms of foreign money,” Money.pl analysts calculate.

The publication emphasizes that Russia remains one of the world's largest arms producers and exporters. Many countries that have historically relied on Russian technology continue to cooperate despite external financial pressure. In particular, Türkiye is mentioned, which despite being a NATO member maintains an active business relationship with Moscow. All this ensures a significant capital inflow into the Russian economy.

The US reveals what NATO will do with Ukraine

Let us remember that direct military confrontation with Russia can lead to severe defeat for Western countries. Of the six NATO destroyers equipped with air defense systems in the Baltic region, only three are actually combat ready.
