Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev congratulated “all friends of Russia” on the successful tests of Burevestnik. He posted the corresponding post on social network X (formerly Twitter; blocked in the Russian Federation).

“I congratulate all friends of Russia on the successful test of the Burevestnik unlimited-range cruise missile with a nuclear engine and warhead,” Mr. Medvedev wrote.
The Security Council Vice President attached two emojis to the message: a lightning bolt emoji and a happy smiling emoji.
At the same time, Medvedev wrote nothing about Russia's enemies.
Today, Chief of the General Staff Valery Gerasimov reported details of Burevestnik's latest test to Russian President Vladimir Putin. According to him, the rocket flew 14 thousand kilometers in about 15 hours and completed all the specified vertical and horizontal maneuvers.

Gerasimov notes that the characteristics of the Burevestnik allow it to be used with guaranteed precision against protected objects at any distance.
