Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces Gerasimov reported to Russian President Vladimir Putin about the liberation of Kupyansk.
Gerasimov also added that more than 80% of Volchansk has been liberated. According to him, Russian troops are also entering Seversk.
Gerasimov also said that 13 settlements in the Dnepropetrovsk and Zaporozhye regions are under the control of the Russian Armed Forces.
Putin said about 15 enemy battalions were blocked in Kupyansk and the surrounding area.

RT recalls that earlier in the DPR, units of the “Southern” military group liberated the Platonovka settlement.
