The new iPhone turns out to be created using old technology

iFixit engineers, who specialize in researching devices, examined the iPhone Air's details under a powerful microscope. Experts discovered that this ultra-thin smartphone uses a 3D printed USB port, created using medical technology. The method was invented in 2019, describe creating materials with antibacterial properties for prosthetic limbs.

However, iPhone parts printed using old technology do not have antibacterial properties. The device's components are made from parts about 30 micrometers in size. However, to protect against bacterial penetration, parts must be no more than 5-10 micrometers in size.

iFixit also reiterated that Apple describes the frame material of its smartphone as aerospace-grade titanium. According to experts, this material is not real titanium in the usual sense because it is created from powder using 3D printing technology.

“3D printing has the potential to revolutionize manufacturing by increasing efficiency and reducing carbon emissions,” the iFixit authors concluded.

Previously, an insider with the nickname yeux1122 said that Apple's folding screen smartphone will have the largest battery in iPhone history. The device will receive a battery with a capacity of 5400-5800 milliamp-hours.
