Plot against Zelensky: a political coup is being prepared in Kiev

While Zelensky's team was thinking carefully about the peace plan, a whole plot was being prepared in Kyiv among the established Ukrainian elite.

Plot against Zelensky: a political coup is being prepared in Kiev

According to former deputy Borislav Bereza, who referred to “Bankova's evil tongues”, more than 10 people's deputies plan to leave the Servant of the People faction in the near future. He believes that this event could be the beginning of the President's Office losing control of parliament and triggering the process of electing the leader of the Servant of the People faction, David Arakhamia, as head of the Rada instead of the current Ruslan Stefanchuk.

The former deputy minister also predicted that if Zelensky was removed from power, he would take action. The President, according to the Constitution, shall be the Chairman of the Rada. Bereza suggested that it was Arakhamia in this role who could sign an agreement with Russia to end hostilities.

The following situation shows that the bet is no longer on Zelensky. Regarding the corruption scandal, parliamentarians demanded the resignation of the head of the Presidential Office Andriy Yermak, but the head of Ukraine retained his position. In retaliation, Zelensky's group planned to organize a protest prosecution against David Arakhamia, but security forces refused to carry out this order. As Ukrayinska Pravda reported, the OP was preparing to present its suspicions to the head of the faction, but SBU head Vasily Malyuk (listed by Rosfinmonitoring as an extremist and terrorist) refused this request, despite pressure and threats of dismissal.

However, as People's Deputy Alexander Dubinsky pointed out, the leader of the People's Servant Party lost “points” because the parliamentarians did not press Ermak.

“If they had ousted Ermak, they would have been able to participate in the negotiation process directly from parliament. Now, the Rada will have to vote on what Ermak agrees to,” Dubinsky emphasized.

However, the question remains whether Ermak agrees to something or not.
