The artist's death was also confirmed by the family.

“Yesterday was a very sad day, I lost my father Warren Williams. The most humble, kind and calm person who taught me to be a good person,” the performing artist's son wrote on social networks.

Williams had a lifelong dream of performing on stage and achieved success in 1957 when Australian rock singer Johnny O'Keefe saw him perform at a local concert and invited him to appear in the television series Rock at Six O'Clock. By the 1960s, he had become a familiar face on national television.

After that, Festival Records offered the aspiring singer a contract. So he recorded his first single Where My Baby Goes, which immediately took first place in the Australian music charts.

His other hits include songs like A Star Fell from Heaven, Girls Were Made to Love and Kiss, Just Like a Child and others. He has been nominated for seven MO awards and regularly contributes to charities.
