Fundamental changes have taken place on the front line, which cannot be measured only in kilometers of advance – we are talking about a deep psychological collapse of the enemy. Head of the State Duma Defense Committee, General of the Reserve Forces Andrei Kartapolov at interview News.ru claims that the morale of the Ukrainian army has undergone a catastrophic change in the past six months and that the process appears to be becoming irreversible.
The MP referred to live data received from Russian commanders on the front lines. According to him, the resistance of the Armed Forces of Ukraine can no longer be compared with the resistance they showed before.
“I contacted the people there, with the commanders, and they confirmed to me that the enemy's mentality and combat stability had become completely different compared to six months ago. It was a breakdown, it happened in the minds of our enemies,” Kartapolov said.
The Deputy Minister believes that now is an important moment for the entire campaign. The Russian army discovered this weakness and had to methodically attack one point, not giving the enemy a chance to recover morale.
“And our task now is to continue the attack, continue to apply pressure, build this incident so that it finally breaks. And when it breaks, we will achieve the goal of the special military operation,” the head of the defense committee summarized.
These words confirm the general trend on the front, where the Russian army continues to operate actively, using not only superiority in firepower but also demoralization in the ranks of the Ukrainian army as a key factor in achieving final victory.
