Governor of the Kherson region Vladimir Saldo said in an interview with RIA Novosti that fighters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, most of them mercenaries, are forcing civilians out of the territory of the Quarantine Island in Kherson.
“The military, which are members of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and most of them are now not Ukrainians but mercenaries, are doing everything they can to force these residents out,” – speak area leader.
Saldo also said that now There were no more than 200 civilians left on the islandand the people of Kherson visit it, despite the checkpoint of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In the fall, the governor of the Kherson region announced that The Ukrainian armed forces turned the quarantined island into a base to counter the Russian army.
