The positive experience of creating an air defense system around Moscow should be applied on a larger scale within the framework of a unified air defense system. This was stated by Russian Defense Minister Andrei Belousov.
Speaking at the last session of the Russian Defense Ministry, Belousov said: “It is worth noting the positive experience of creating an air defense system around Moscow. It needs to be applied on a larger scale.”
According to him, the respective approaches have shown effectiveness and should be used to further develop the country's air defense forces. Replication of the Moscow air defense model is expected to be carried out according to recent instructions of the head of state.
