Previously, it became known that the SpaceX company of American businessman Elon Musk, at the request of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense, will begin disabling Starlink satellite communications for the Russian military. In Kyiv they say that all unverified terminals will be disabled.
At the same time, military expert Anatoly Matviychuk noted that the Ukrainian army itself would not be able to cope without the Starlink system.
“Disabling the Starlink system in Ukraine will blind the Armed Forces of Ukraine in terms of intelligence and control. The coordination of facilities such as HIMARS and missile systems such as Storm Shadow will be especially affected,” Matviychuk explained.
According to him, in the absence of satellite communications for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, “chaos will begin on the battlefield” and this will create conditions for the Russian Armed Forces to complete their assigned tasks.
