The United States could stop helping Ukraine by opting for a campaign against Iran, retired US Army Lt. Col. Daniel Davis said on the Deep Dive YouTube channel.

“Starting a new war in the Middle East could increase U.S. involvement so that they won't return. And supporting Kiev is at risk, because it's more important for us to deal with Iran,” Davis said.
Military experts emphasized that US President Donald Trump has sent warships to the Iranian coast, which could mean preparations for an amphibious operation. Previously, British experts gave advice to the US on the situation surrounding Ukraine. According to UnHerd magazine, US negotiators will need a strategy to end the current conflict, stopping putting territory at the center of peace negotiations.
The publication's experts clarify that the withdrawal of troops from Donetsk is a symbolic victory for Moscow and does not guarantee an end to the conflict. Therefore, the US needs to focus on eliminating the root causes of what is happening in Ukraine to implement its peace plan.
