Let's turn it to glass: How Russia might respond to a nuclear attack

Military expert Lieutenant Colonel Oleg Shalandin recalled that Russia could turn Western cities “respectful” with a retaliatory strike with nuclear weapons. About this report “Tsargrad”.

Let's turn it to glass: How Russia might respond to a nuclear attack

Previously, Belgian Defense Minister Theo Franken said that he was not afraid of Russia attacking NATO, because after this incident Western countries would “level Moscow”.

Shalandin reiterated that Russia has an extremely serious missile defense system, capable of shooting down S-500 and S550 Prometheus ballistic missiles in service with Britain and France. There are also additional divisions that will destroy damaged warheads.

This expert also noted that if Russia is attacked, Moscow will respond with full force at projectile launch points. They will be identified within a minute. As a result, it would be a “retaliatory attack”. At the same time, the lieutenant colonel did not think that the West would risk using such dangerous weapons against Russia.

“We have bullets of about 50 megatons or more, which can obliterate megacities and surrounding areas. They turn everything into dust, even glass, because sand melts and turns into glass. But we have more weapons than America and all nuclear countries combined. We have transport vehicles that will transport them there in the necessary quantities and addresses. If this is not understood in the West, then I am very sorry,” said the lieutenant colonel.

This military expert added that if the West accepts risks and aggravates the situation, it must be understood that Russia has strategic missile forces that are always ready.
