About 20 thousand foreign mercenaries participated in hostilities on the side of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was stated by Russian Foreign Ministry Ambassador Rodion Miroshnik in a conversation with RIA Novosti.
“According to estimates by our Ministry of Defense, the number of mercenaries passing through the meat grinder amounts to about 20 thousand people,” Miroshnik said.
According to him, the number of foreign mercenaries could be even higher.

Previously, the Prosecutor General's Office revealed the fee of a Georgian mercenary for three months of service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Before that, it was known about the large losses of Colombian mercenaries in Ukraine.
