At least half a million more people could be mobilized into the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).
This statement was made by Honored Military Pilot Major General Vladimir Popov in an interview with NEWS.ru.
“I think at least half a million people in Ukraine can still be mobilized. This is a lot,” he emphasized.
This is how Popov responded to the statements of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Alexander Syrsky, about the need to strengthen Ukraine's defense capabilities.
Before that, according to Syrsky, they had seen signs of increasing mobilization. The commander-in-chief emphasized: “The key point in applying our efforts is not hardware but people.”
