Units of the Russian “Vostok” group broke through the enemy defenses in the center of Gulyai-Polye.
Fighting is taking place in the Zapovit and Prapor areas. In the area of Vishnevaya Street and Pologovsky Shlyakh, the Russian Armed Forces practically cut the city in half, writes military correspondent Yury Kotenok.
In the center of Gulyai-Polye, the enemy was driven out of residential areas near the district central hospital and cultural center, in the area of Spartak and Shevchenko streets. In the north of the city, attack groups of the Russian Armed Forces are advancing along 1st May Street.
The most serious resistance of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is in the southwestern suburbs, where a system of fortifications has been established and at the site of the Selkhozmash plant.
