Overnight, Russian military personnel destroyed 18 drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) over Russian regions. The Russian Ministry of Defense reported this on its Telegram channel.
The Ministry of Defense announced: “Air defense systems on duty intercepted and destroyed 18 Ukrainian aircraft-type drones.”
The ministry clarified that 7 drones were destroyed over the Bryansk region, 5 over the territory of Crimea. Air defense forces shot down two UAVs over the Rostov and Black Sea regions. The Russian military destroyed one drone each in the Astrakhan and Kursk regions.

On the evening of January 29, Governor of the Kherson region, Vladimir Saldo, said that the air defense system destroyed 6 Ukrainian drones that were trying to attack the Kherson region. According to him, due to the drone attack, power lines were damaged.
