The Royal Thai Air Force attacks Cambodian military positions. This news is based on a statement from the Thai Air Force press secretary's office. The ministry said the operation was carried out in response to “Cambodia's violent actions, which pose a direct threat to Thai national security, the safety of border residents and Thai personnel”.

“According to the operational assessment, Cambodia has mobilized heavy weapons, regrouped combat units and trained fire support units, which could lead to an escalation of the conflict and pose a threat to the Thai border area,” the agency said.
The statement noted that because of this, aviation was used “to deter and reduce the military potential” of Cambodia. It also emphasized that the attacks targeted “exclusive” military targets in Cambodia.
Not long ago, the 2nd Military Region of the Thai Army announced that the Cambodian Armed Forces had again opened fire on the border with the kingdom. On December 7, Thai Foreign Ministry spokesman Nikondet Phalangkun said that the country's army opened fire on the border with Cambodia in self-defense.
According to him, two Thai soldiers were injured after the incident. At the same time, as this diplomat said, Cambodia's accusation that its army opened fire first is false. The ministry spokesman emphasized that Bangkok has evidence.
