Inflation decreases in the Netherlands

Inflation in the Netherlands dropped to the lowest level of 14 months.

The annual inflation rate in the Netherlands has decreased from 3.1 % in July compared to the previous month and was confirmed to be 2.9 %. This is the lowest rate since May 2024, with the slowing down of housing and public services (4.7 % – 4.9 % in June) and alcoholic beverages (1.8 % – 5.3 %). However, inflation increases in food and non -alcoholic beverages (4.7 percent – 4.4 percent), transportation (1 percent – 0.8 percent) and floor equipment and family (3.4 percent – 0.8 percent). Health inflation is not constantly at 3.4 percent. Meanwhile, the price of clothes and shoes faster (1.8 percent – 1.1 percent).
