Inflation in the Netherlands, one of the strongest economies in Europe, has dropped to the lowest level of 15 months.
The annual inflation rate in the Netherlands has decreased from 2.9 % in July and decreased to 2.8 % in August 2025. This pointed out the lowest level since May 2024. Because food, drinks and cigarettes compared to 4.1 % in July, the price increased by 3.7 % and the previous month decreased from 4 %. On the other hand, inflation in industrial goods except for energy fuel and engine increased by 1.4 % compared to 1.3 % in July, while energy, including engine fuel, increased from 1 % to 1.6 % in July.
