The October 2025 payment date for 65-year-old pensions and disability benefits, sent out on a regular monthly basis by the Ministry of Family and Social Services, has become a matter of curiosity. Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş announced that they started depositing pensions for the elderly and disabled amounting to about 7.2 billion liras in October into the account. In its written statement, Göktaş stated that it is working with the aim of ensuring the full and effective participation of people with disabilities and the elderly in all areas of life, and supporting them to live independent lives, saying: “We continue to support them in all areas from education to health, from economics to social life. We provide our services with a human orientation and “We do it within the framework the main rights-based policy.” Göktaş said social assistance programs for people with disabilities and the elderly: “In this direction, we started depositing 7.2 billion lira of elderly pensions and disability pensions into the account for October, including about 4 billion lira of elderly pensions and about 3.2 billion lira of disability pensions.
