The inflation rate in Kuwait reached the highest level in 4 months.
The annual inflation rate in Kuwait increased from 2.32 % in June to 2.39 % in July 2025 and has reached the highest level since March. Food and beverages (5.63 percent – 5.11 percent in June) and different prices of goods and services (4.86 percentage – 4.80 percent) increase faster. At the same time, shipping costs decreased at lower speeds (-1.75 percentage-1.81 percent), housing inflation 0.98%), cigarettes and cigarettes (0.07%) and restaurants and hotels (1.94%) constant. On the other hand, clothes and shoes (3.70 percent – 3.93 percent), household appliances and maintenance equipment 3.22 percent – 3.30 percent), health (2.85 percent – 2.94 %), communication (0.48 – 0.64 percent) and entertainment and culture (1.76 percent – 1.92 %) reduce inflation. On the basis of monthly, consumer prices increased by 0.22 percent in July and decreased slightly compared to the increase of 0.29 percent of the previous month.
