Turkish Airlines (THY) announced that flights to Sulaymaniyah, Iraq will resume.
THY Communications Director Yahya Üstün announced that flights to Suleymaniye will start. In his statement on the Yahya Üstün X account, he stated that flights will be organized 7 days a week. Üstün said, “We look forward to contributing to further strengthening the trade, cultural and tourism ties between Iraq and Türkiye with our Sulaymaniyah expeditions.”
THY decided to stop flights to Sulaymaniyah at the beginning of April 2023.
