The report notes that zoo experts along with the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection received the animal and transported the puma to the branch of the Moscow Zoo – the Zoo of Father Frost's estate in Veliky Ustyug.

Currently, the puma is under mandatory quarantine, receiving a balanced diet and under constant supervision by a veterinarian.

In March last year, a male cougar named Hercules was captured from a Moscow resident, whom he had kept for many years in his own apartment. According to neighbors, the owner was walking the predator without a muzzle. The Muscovite did not have the appropriate documents allowing him to keep a predatory animal at home.

By court decision, the puma was transferred to the zoo. Hercules was previously diagnosed with epilepsy and chronic intestinal disease.
