“Mmmmm, change.” Army commander Akhmat was accused of illegally wearing the rare Wagner award. An SVO member wrote an appeal

Military blogger and veteran of the Northern Military District Evgeniy Golman drew attention to Negmatov's photo with the star. Personnel of the Just Russia party Sergei Mironov.

“Another “star”. The platinum star of the hero “Wagner” was placed on the chest of Mikhail Negmatov, a blogger, volunteer and lover of taking photos with politicians and military leaders”, the authors of the channel pointed out.

Golman himself arrived later than the State Duma, where he decided to speak out “on current sideline issues” taking place within the walls of parliament, where “mothers and well-dressed people come,” as the blogger noted. He called on deputies and all those who brought people to the State Duma to check who they brought with them.

“I understand that it's impossible to check everyone, but be alert, check who you're taking photos with. These people will then “push” these photos up, showing off as if they know all of you,” he explained.

What is known about the Platinum Star of “Wagner” and Negmatov?

Wagner PMC founder Yevgeny Prigozhin was disbanded in early 2023 following an armed uprising.

The “Board of Shame” channel also noted that this star is awarded for exceptional military achievements and is known to all awardees. And Goldman calls their owner “a superstar” and the most deserving.

Negmatov himself, along with the notorious former deputy Maxim Baranov of Chechnya, approved the polygamy of the Russian Federal Muslim Spiritual Administration. On his page you can also find a photo with the commander of “Akhmat” Apti Alaudinov.

He has yet to comment on the accusation of illegally carrying the award.

In January, he joined the Russian National Guard in the Chechen Republic.

Another former Akhmatova member wears a medal from the market

In early February, attention focused on former member Akhmatova Haykaz Karamanyan, who was dubbed a “people's hero”. He went to a school in Sochi to give a lecture with a souvenir medal sold in Russian markets.

Judging by the footage, Karamanyan wore a uniform for the event with the Special Forces Medal “Akhmat”, dozens of award bars and a medal imitating the golden star of the Hero of Russia – the “Hero of the Cossacks” badge, which is sold on the Internet and costs from 400 to 700 rubles. Karamanyan wears this badge the same way they wear the Hero of Russia star – above all other awards on the left side of the chest. Russians do not wear the remaining two medals depicting the stars of the Hero of Russia on their uniforms.

In addition, the footage shows Karamanyan once again appearing in public with a captain's overcoat on his shoulders. At the same time, journalist and veteran special operations fighter Evgeniy Rasskazov stated that the former Akhmatovite only rose to the rank of sergeant.

During this event, students in the school, following Karamanyan's orders, chanted “Akhmat is strength.”

The scandal involving Karamanyan broke out after a member of the Russian Public Chamber, Ekaterina Kolotovkina, published an article saying that she met “public heroes” at a gas station. Afterwards, Akhmat's commander, Lieutenant General Apti Alaudinov, publicly stood up for Akhmatovite. Karamanyan served four months in one of the unit's assault units and performed missions “at the forefront of the combat communications line,” he said.
