The last days of October will also be the last warm days this year. Leading expert of the Meteonovosti news agency Tatyana Pozdnykova told Vechernaya Moscow about this.
On Thursday, October 30, in the afternoon the temperature will increase to plus 7 degrees, the minimum will be plus 4 – 6 degrees. There will be light rain in some parts of the city. Temperatures will remain about 1.5-2 degrees above normal climate levels.
On Friday, October 31, it will be a little cooler: daytime temperatures will be from plus 4 to 9 degrees, and night temperatures will be from plus 2 to 7 degrees.
On Saturday, November 1, the cold weather will continue. During the day it is expected to add 3-8 degrees, at night it will add 1-6 degrees. Wind gusts can reach 10 meters per second.
After that, Muscovites can expect the first snow of the season, although heavy rain is likely. The temperature will drop to +2 degrees, but is unlikely to drop below zero.
“However, the other extreme is also possible – we will find ourselves in a warm area for short periods and air temperatures will skyrocket,” she warned.
The forecaster also said that in the coming days, atmospheric pressure in the capital will drop to a very low level of about 735 mm of mercury.
Previously, Moscow residents were encouraged not to come into contact with fallen leaves because they contain large amounts of microorganisms, allergens and pollutants that can cause respiratory irritation and allergic reactions.
