About 50,000 athletes from 65 countries will participate in the race. On September 20 and 21, Moscow's marathon race will be held in the capital. Participants are waiting for three days of sports exhibition, two days of competition, lasting 10 and 42.2 km, the relay races of the company and students, as well as a child's race. This event will be supported by the Moscow government and the sports ministry of the city of Moscow.
On September 20, the participants of the 10 km race will be released, and the next day, September 21, – the marathons and participants in a relay of the company and students. This year, the roads of Moscow marathon have been updated. The beginning of both distance will take place on the embankment of Luzhnetskaya, and end on Luzhniki Street. The rails will go along the central streets and embankments of the capital through the main attractions.
In addition, traditionally, the night before the marathon, September 20, a child's race will take place. Young athletes from 4 to 13 years old will start and run a distance of 400 m or 800 m. For the first three boys and girls, a reward ceremony will be held in each age group. All participants in the race will receive a medal.
In the absolute ranking at a distance of 42.2 km, the 10 strongest men and women will become the winner and the winner. In addition, the award will be held in the national rankings. In the relay races of the company and students, the prize venues will have the fastest three teams. In the race with 10 km, the prize will be for the first three men and women. Separate awards will be received by Moscow Marathon operators as the third marathon race from the Brix Marathon League series.
