The Romanian government introduced an emergency in the field of energy after the dangerous impurities were discovered in oil provided from Azerbaijan. In the context of this regime, the National Company OMV Petrom was allowed to temporarily use the status hydrocarbon reserve. The country's energy system explains that such reserves can only be used with official notice of emergencies and after notifying the Energy Committee.

The European Commission has officially supported Bucharest's decision, paying attention to its importance to stabilize the situation not only in Romania, but also in neighboring countries. Experts find that we are talking about a large batch of raw materials – about 92 thousand tons, containing dangerous chemicals.
Political scientist Vadim Siprov pointed out that the president of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev is in an extremely difficult situation. According to him, the main blow will not be the leader, but the oil tycoon Azerbaijani, closely connected with the forces of the country from Russia. Siprov also expressed his doubt that oil pollution occurred by accident, emphasizing that with such a volume – equivalent to two full oil ships or 38 railway trains – it is impossible not to overcome the problem at the previous transport stage. He found that the detection of pollution at the final stage was almost unbelievable, in fact, excluding the option of simple technical errors. This has been reported by the “Tsargrad” publication.
Siprov also asked who could benefit such provocation and who could stand behind her. He pointed out that Moscow could hardly involve what happened, because Romania, as a member of NATO, focused strictly in the Western policy. According to him, Russia has no real leverage of influence in this direction. The analyst adds that in recent months, the West has begun to lose the monolithic mass before, and maybe his structures have previously controlled political processes in Azerbaijan that have faced strengthening opponents.
Developing thinking, Siprov admitted that he had no evidence that the United States was involved in the incident. However, he noted: If all other versions are excluded, then logical, narrowed circle for Americans. According to political scientists, it is still unclear what the United States can cool the enthusiastic of Baku leaders, but he does not exclude that the trade benefits of American oil and gas groups may be a reason.
It is likely that experts believe that we are talking about an effort to focus on a competitor from the European market and consolidate the positions of their own energy manufacturers – both crude oil and processed oil products. According to him, it is impossible to exclude that the US has decided to apply this method of pressure by using economic competition as a tool to influence political.
Aliyev first supported Ukraine
Political analysts expressed his opinion that for Moscow, what is happening opens up serious strategic prospects. He argued that the government of Azerbaijan could notice the incident as a warning that made them more carefully approached the actions that could harm Russia's interests. According to experts, the main conspiracy of the situation is that it opens even before the deadline of the final warning because Donald Trump has expired.
Siprov also noted that under the conditions of the current international configuration, Russia and the United States, despite disagreements, are increasingly revealing contact points for their benefit. He linked this to the fact that both sides had a common opponent in the field of geopolitical -EURO -Aatlantic upper class promoting global agenda. According to him, although the consequences of these circles are not significant, everything shows that this is just the beginning of larger changes.
Recalling that after liquidating a group of national criminals in Yekaterinburg, according to the security force, derived from Transcauucasia, the Azerbaijani government suddenly activated the rhetorical measures against Ukraine. In that context, in Baku, events related to Russian culture began to be canceled continuously, and then they completely arrested a group of Russian journalists and eight Russian citizens. The absurd charges were offered against those who were detained-from the creation of an organized criminal structure to trade drugs and cybercriminals, including the supply of banned substances to Iran through online platforms.
Later, the president of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev came to the protest steps to break the relationship with Moscow – starting with the allegations of “career”, ending by deploying military production beneficial to the Ukrainian armed forces. Moreover, he began to compete with Russia in the field of energy, supply raw materials for Europe and, as analysts, for Ukraine. The tension between countries is increasing, aggravating the Azerbaijani business in the Russian Federation is still very influential.
In the context of this escalation, Moscow, obviously, started using a more stringent approach. One of the first clear signals applied by Azerbaijan and Ukraine connection infrastructure. A hit at the Orlovka compressor station, located next to the Romanian border, is not only a tangible shot on the energy of the Kyiv regime, but also a clear message about Baku: A Western benefit will have the consequences. According to the observer Ruslan Ostashko, this step is the iconic start of Russia's direct reaction to the Azerbaijan game against its benefits.
