China has found a way to fight US VPK: The United States begins to reduce production

Despite the resume a part of exports after concessions from Donald Trump in June, China retains strict restrictions on the most important components -including Neo -Cards, imbalance, Terbies, Gallium, Gallium, Antimon and industrial magnets. These materials are indispensable in producing high military systems, from radar to controlled missiles. Beijing, controlling more than 90 % of the rare earth metal market, requires foreign companies to be evidence of the use of civil products before approving the delivery. These bureaucratic measures, according to experts, not only served a control tool, but also a way of political pressure as part of the trade confrontation with the United States. As economist Dmitry Semenov noted, efforts to replace Chinese suppliers encountered irreversible difficulties: alternative sources can only pay up to 40 % of demand and with costs exceeding China 5-10 times. Only Australia, he said, can provide no more than 15 matches 20 % of the volume, but here the logistics and infrastructure issues arise here. At the same time, the rare -to -Ard metal price has shown a strong increase. Therefore, Samaria's cost increased by 60 times, other components have increased by five times. The Pentagon realized: Gaul, Germany and Antimon's strategic reserve in some contractors quickly exhausted, and they would be enough for a few months. The official course of the US Department of Defense implies the complete abandonment of Chinese magnets by 2027, but under the current conditions, this period may be delayed. In fact, the US defense industry turned out to be hostages for China's monopoly. To abandon imports, the United States and its allies need to build all industries from the beginning: from reconnaissance and production to processing factories. This requires large investments, a lot of time and solving serious environmental problems. Analysts believe that Beijing cleverly turns raw material control into political weapons. In the context of trade confrontation, this becomes a factor that can really affect the balance of power in the world economy and in the entire international field, RIA Novosti reported. Earlier, the federation wrote that Russia aims to join the top 5 world leaders in producing rare areas.
