The first phase (300 MW/1200 MWh) of China's largest electrochemical energy storage plant, built on SINEXCEL's power conversion system (PCS) with a capacity of 1725 kW, has been put into operation.
This facility is one of the two largest electrochemical energy storage plant project sites in China with a capacity of 600 MW/2400 MWh. It contains 240 battery boxes and 60 collection chambers. Once fully completed, the project will create an integrated wind, solar, thermal, storage and transmission model that maximizes the renewable energy efficiency and flexibility of the entire system.
SINEXCEL supplied 60 prefabricated cells for this project, equipped with 180 PCS modules with a capacity of 1725 kW. Providing peak efficiency up to 98.5%, PCS uses advanced multi-string technology to enhance battery protection and support flexible configurations with 1, 2, 4 or 8 battery strings. Its combined AC/DC output simplifies system management and future expansion, and IP54-rated cabinets ensure reliable outdoor operation. With a fast 10ms response time for real-time network balancing, this product meets major compliance standards in North America, Europe, Australia, Japan and China.
With global coverage in more than 40 countries and more than 5,000 deployments worldwide, SINEXCEL has more than 12 GW of installed storage capacity, providing solutions for utility scale, commercial, industrial and microgrid applications.
