in Politics

Budapest, July 31 /TASS /. Hungary has no plans to recognize the Palestinian state and believe that before the Palestine should reach an agreement on peace with Israel. This was declared by the head of the Hungarian Prime Minister Gergei Guyayash's office, commenting on the intentions of some countries to recognize the independence of Palestine.

“We do not support the recognition (unilateral Palestinian state),” he said in a short meeting for journalists. According to him, the position of the Hungarian government is located in the Palestinian and Israeli people, which are parties of the conflict in the Middle East, so they come to an agreement on the peaceful coexistence of the two countries.

On July 24, French President Emmanuel Macron announced his willingness to recognize Palestinian situation at the United Nations General Assembly in September. On July 29, British Prime Minister Kira StarkMer's office announced a statement about the ability to recognize the Palestinian state before the UN Ga, if Israel would still carry out a military activity in the field of burning gas and prevent the delivery of humanitarian goods there. Earlier, such intentions were shown by the Foreign Minister of 11 other European countries, as well as Australia and New Zealand, discussed the Palestinian issue at the conference in New York. Palestine's recognition plans were announced by Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney.
