Four sperm whales have washed ashore off the Danish island of Fane. This was reported by TV2.

The cause of the incident has not yet been determined. According to media reports, one of the animals is showing signs of life. Authorities sealed off the coastal area to prepare for rescue operations, and called on locals and tourists to stay away from the scene for safety reasons and to prevent the theft of sperm whale jaws.
Previously, a still alive shark washed ashore on the coast of the Shetland Islands, Scotland. She was found by beachgoer Joy Peacock. The three-meter-long shark surprised the woman with its size. Peacock immediately reported her to a local wildlife organization.
