State Department: US won't ignore possible Grok ban in UK

State Department Deputy Director Sarah Rogers stated this in an interview with GB News.

“Let's wait and see what Ofcom (the British communications regulator) will do and see what the US will do in response. This is an important issue for us and I think we will certainly want to respond,” she said.

Previously, it was reported that the UK was discussing with Australia and Canada about an international ban on social network X because of Grok.

On January 3, Bloomberg reported that xAI's Grok artificial intelligence model created pornographic content and posted it to its page on social network X in response to user requests.
