SYDNEY, January 22. /TASS/. Russian citizens did not seek assistance from the Russian Consulate General in Sydney in connection with the shooting in the city of Lake Cargeligo. TASS reporters were informed about this by diplomatic agencies.
“No Russian citizen contacted the Russian Consulate General in Sydney regarding the shooting in the city of Lake Cargeligo,” the Russian diplomat said.
At least three people were killed and one seriously injured in a shooting in the New South Wales town of Lake Cargeligo, 550 kilometers west of Sydney, police said. The government advises city residents not to leave their homes.
